Description

This is an organ bath containing a piece of ileum tissue, and is connected to a transducer which records tension that is displayed by the computer. The tissue is mounted inside the organ bath chamber containing Tyrode’s solution and oxygenated with Carbogen. In the resting state, the tissue displays baseline contractions, or oscillations, as displayed by this trace.
