Using Pipettors: 3 – Two-stop pipettors, and preparing solutions

There are two stops on these pipettors, the first stop and the second stop. After attaching a tip, depress the pipettor to the first stop. Slowly withdraw the desired sample, coloured blue in this example. When dispensing the solution, depress the pipettor down to the first stop and then also to the second stop to expel all of the volume. Afterwards, fully release the pipettor. To eject the tip, use your thumb to depress the button on the edge of the pipettor, and release into the disposal waste bin.
